Want to learn to work with Art Clay Silver?  Afraid of the cost to get started?

This class is for you!  “Silver Leaves” is a small silver clay project to allow you to experiment with the media.  I will teach basic silver clay rolling, carving, and sculpting and you will finish (at least) two silver leaves and prepare them for firing.  Wednesday, April  16 at 10 – 4.

I will fire the pieces during the intervening week and prepare them for enamel.

In the second class (Wednesday, April 23rd at 10-1), I will teach enameling on fine silver clay and basic jewelry finishing, and we will complete our project: either a pair of earrings or a two leaf necklace.

The kit fee is $75 and includes: includes: 12 grams of Art Clay Silver, basic finishing tools, silver wire, gemstone bead and sterling silver earwires or a silver plated chain.

Additional Art Clay Silver will be available at cost.
Sterling silver necklaces will be available for purchase at a price based on current silver prices.

Basic silver clay and enameling tools will be available for use in class. A supply list will be provided.

Feel free to bring your own leaves to use for the project.  They must be fresh (not dried out) and smaller than ¾”.

Please bring a lunch or snack.  We will take a half an hour break, while pieces are drying.
